Using the Custom Rest Timer in StrengthLab360

The Custom Rest Timer feature brings greater control to your sessions by allowing you to set personalized rest durations between sets. Whether you’re training for hypertrophy, strength, or circuit endurance, this tool lets you match your tempo to your goal.

How to Use It:

  1. During plan creation, select an exercise and tap the timer icon.

  2. Set your preferred rest time in seconds (default is 120 seconds).

  3. You can also adjust this rest duration during a workout by tapping the timer while logging.

  4. Once the timer finishes, it changes color and displays how long you've gone beyond the target rest.

Scenario Example:
You're training legs with heavy squats and want a 180-second break between sets. In the Editor, set the rest timer to 180s. During logging, if you take 200s instead, the timer will turn color after 180 and count up — helping you stay aware and accountable for rest management.
