How to Set Up Your First Mesocycle in StrengthLab360?

Setting up your first mesocycle in StrengthLab360 is quick and flexible—whether you're building your own plan or using one from our elite coaches. Here's how to get started:

Step 1: Choose or Create a Template

Head over to the Templates section in the app. You have three options:

  • Create Your Own:
    Click on "New Template" to build your own training plan from scratch.

  • Use a Pro Coach Template:
    Browse templates designed by our expert coaches and choose one that fits your goal (hypertrophy, strength, etc.).

  • Modify a Pre-Made Template:
    Found a coach template you like but want to tweak it? Click on the template, then hit "Duplicate". This creates your own editable version.

Step 2: Plan as a Mesocycle

Once you’ve chosen or built your template:

  1. Click on the template you want to use.

  2. Select “Plan as Mesocycle.”

  3. Give your mesocycle a name (e.g., "Spring Strength Cycle").

  4. Choose the duration (number of weeks) and a start date.

  5. Click "Create Mesocycle."

Your plan will now appear on your Periodization Calendar as Scheduled.

Step 3: Start Your Mesocycle

If you don’t already have another mesocycle active:

  • On the Periodization Calendar, click the three dots next to your mesocycle, and select “Start.”

OR

  • Simply go to your Dashboard, and if no other mesocycle is running, you’ll see an option to start it directly from there.

Once started, your mesocycle will show as Active on your dashboard, and your training sessions can be started from there.
